Why love two when you can love one!
According to Consumer Insight’s Maisha report, 93% of Africans believe that a man should have one wife at any given time. Religion heavily shifts the belief, with 24% of Muslim Africans believing otherwise, as compared to 5% of Christians. But when it comes to African nations, Nigeria is a strong believer of monogamy with a whopping 97% stating as much. Kenya and South Africa also believe in monogamy, but not as strongly as Nigeria at 92% and 93% respectively. It seems two is not better than one after all.
