With the theme ‘Taking Charge of your entrepreneurial journey’, the African Women studies Center (AWSC) in collaboration with School of Business (University of Nairobi) launched the Women Entrepreneurs training programme on October 6th.
The main aim of the programme is to provide support to women entrepreneurs in growing their businesses in the markets emerging locally, regionally and internationally.
In addition, the training aims to enable women to improve and transform their business into thriving and sustainable business ventures.

The launch targeted 300 women in enterprise sector, marketing, mentors in business and government bodies.
The Guest of Honors were Dr. Manu Chandaria Chair and CEO Comcraft Group of comapanies and Tabitha Mukami Karanja the founder and CEO of Keroche Breweries.
